THE PERMANENT COLLECTION
This collection contains works from the 1800s to today, with main emphasis on Norwegian art.
It includes Norway’s largest collection of works by Lars Hertervig – more than 70 paintings. Other key artists are Frida Hansen, Kitty Kielland and Olaf Lange. The collection contains a large selection of Jan Groth’s works on paper, also Norwegian and international contemporary art in a wide range of visual expressions – painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation.
