NEW DATE: Thursday Introduction

Welcome to the second Thursday introduction of one of the video programmes that are part of the exhibition Bill Viola - Into the Light.

Today Director, department of art and curator for the exhibition, Hanne Beate ueland will introduce the work The Passing (1991) prior to its screening in the museum's auditorium.

As part of the exhibition Bill Viola - Into the Light four different video programs with a selection of Bill Viola's video works are shown in the museum's auditorium. Several of the video installations in the exhibition are based on themes and ideas first unfolded in the video works shown in the programmes.
