Ruth Asawa (1926-2013) is known for her hanging sculptures in looped and tied wire. Stavanger Art Museum has organized an exhibition with Ruth Asawa's work together with Modern Art Oxford. The exhibition, entitled Citizen of the Universe takes a unique look at the visionary artist, educator and activist Ruth Asawa, and celebrates her holistic integration of art, education and community engagement through displaying prints, drawings, letters and photographs. Due to covid-19 the exhibition had to be postponed until next summer, but during this art lunch curator Vibece Salthe will give you an insight in this wonderful artist's work.
